Pros

Benefits are awesome Lots of projects with lots of experience to gain

Cons

Pay is low compared to the amount of work Management do not work well with each other which makes it harder to get work done by other departments Very Very Very strict with vacation and sick time off, management monitor if you are late and they will not allow to make up time after work even if it was couple of hours Very hard to get permission to work from home, 90% of the time management will reject it

Pros

company is doubling it's production lines in 2015 so is hiring people

Cons

long 12 hours shifts, 7am-7pm or 7pm-7am, workweek is 3x12 hr shift/ 4 days off then 4x12 hr shift/ 3 days off following week. manufacturing is 24/7 operation, no overtime pay when working the 48 hr week or on weekends. when working, too tired at end of shift and have no time anyways to do anything else then to go home, eat and sleep in order to start all over again the next day. new employees on the manufacturing line will likely start on the night shift since that's the least desirable, however will get 5% more pay. the assembly job is essentially watching over a part of the the automated assembly line and taking corrective actions when something goes wrong. it is tedious and repetitive. you are judged on the basis of maintaining production quotas while meeting quality standards don't expect much job satisfaction here
