Pros

Working as a Data Analyst at Equifax has been a rewarding experience. The company offers a collaborative environment, cutting-edge tools, and plenty of opportunities for skill development. Management is supportive, and the work is impactful, contributing to meaningful business insights. It's an excellent place to grow your career in data analytics!

Cons

As an employee at Equifax, I was disappointed by my recent experience with the security team at one of the office buildings. On weekends, I pursue a small side hobby of taking outfit photos in front of the beautiful columns at the building. One day, the security guard was friendly and understanding when I explained my hobby, even saying he had no issue with it. However, the next day, a different guard confronted me, asked for my ID (which I didn’t have on me), and told me to leave immediately. Despite explaining the prior conversation with another guard, I was made to feel unwelcome. It’s frustrating that as an employee, I can’t use the space respectfully during off-hours for a harmless hobby. This experience left me feeling unappreciated and unsupported by a company I work hard for. I hope Equifax considers better training for consistency and treating employees with more respect.

Pros

My direct manager. Comp plan if you’re lucky enough to find several whale clients, and if you’re lucky, the commission is approved.

Cons

There are a lot. First, office politics. Equifax expects employees to be very corporate and robotic. Metrics metrics metrics. 100% focused on revenue, not customers. Metrics, metrics, metrics. PIP overuse. Even when you’re 150% to yearly plan 6mo in, they expect 300%. Make sure to keep receipts. Senior management will find the most ridiculous ways to push reps out, continently right before a huge payout of a very delayed commission plan. (Sell something in Jan 2025, you will only get a fraction of commission until June 26). That’s if the exception committee approves payout (which never happens). If you sell a big deal, don’t expect to get paid 100% of what the plan says.
