      Pros

      Survive and thrive. Do you own your book or does your employer own you? This company has an incredible culture, great training program and everyone seems willing to help. This career path is not for the faint of heart. Commission based. It’s what you make of the opportunity.

      Cons

      A focus on commission but again if you’re willing to work you should want a commission based opportunity because you are in control. Not the employer.

      Compensation structure, product availability, brokerage system, overall tools, open structure to do best for your clients

      Cons

      Support staff are more hands off, not a lot of in house support staff members.

      Pros

      Solid place to start. Learn a ton about wealth management industry, sandbox for development. In Pittsburgh in particular EVP is excellent.

      Cons

      Managers are not created equal. This has a big impact on your development. Sometimes feel like prospecting tactics are from the 80s.
