Pros
Work from home day. Co-workers (most have left). Benefits are decent
Cons
2% raises are so old. Record profits and all they do is lay off employees, promote managers and give 2% raises while we do all the work. MANAGEMENT, MANAGEMENT, MANAGEMENT- Management has been there too long. You cannot get anywhere because of them getting promoted and keeping the people they want. Employees are running for the doors because you cannot move up. Management does not work...they only micromanage and walk around asking where people are. Then they go back to their desk and shop on the computer, talk to their kids and friends on the phone, take 2 hour lunches. When they do go to lunch its always in their group. They have special rules and hours that only apply to them. They don't say hello and if they do they don't know your name (or if they do they don't call you by your name). I thought twice maybe things would get shaken up a bit but nope. This company needs to get some balls and get rid of some of the managers. The ones they did get rid of were the ones not in their group. You go to your manager with a question and they don't have time. Then you see them talking it up with another manager about their weekend. They reject your holiday time off because they want the time off, but they haven't even marked their time yet. They lay off employees and keep each department under staffed yet you see all the promotions going on above. I could write so much more but if you haven't gotten it by now, you won't. HR is non existent and do nothing about anything. So many have told me they expressed their thoughts in exit interviews and HR said they would look into it. They don't. The management has them in their vice also.
