Pros
Flexible work environment, remote. Some nice people to work with.
Cons
Opaque. Constantly pushing how great they are doing in global town halls. But compensation and raises do not reflect that and are a complete joke. Raises do not even cover inflation. There is no other compensation like bonus. Poor benefits. No real other perks like most companies have. It all goes to executives and investors with some handouts to lower level employees.
Dysfunctional communication system. There is no link between the CEO and most teams. Executive team includes some questionable executives like HR, completely inept at doing her job. Very awkward in people interactions, not able to connect with anyone or have a small talk conversation, comes across as full of herself and better than others. This should tell you about the quality of the team running this business. If the very person who is supposed to work with and support people cannot establish any relationship or have a friendly conversation with them, it reflects on culture and flows down the line. That’s how you’ll feel when you join - that you are unsupported, ignored, unheard, alone and isolated in your remote job.
They do employee surveys for a check mark. Nothing is actually done after reading them.
EthixBase does not stand for an ethical company at the core. It’s all about capitalizing on those who make ethics their priority. So don’t be misled by the name.
