Pros

You might meet a few cool people along the way who entered the Thunder Dome (Euro Pro) as a result of being ambitious, hungry, driven professionals. These personalities are soon crushed into submission and most everyone ends up with a mild to severe anxiety disorder. But guys, don't worry, there are free bagels on Friday.

Cons

Every. single. thing. (Except some nice people who are tenacious and resilient, god love them.) Folks I could list it out for days, but I'm tired to my bones. There are a million consumer packaged goods companies, there are a million places to make your mark, so pick a place where you can trust your management to be your advocate. Good people are indeed there, but the culture is so aggressive that your armour is constantly up, making it difficult to forge true connections. If you want to mirror the success of others who have battled through a couple years for the salary upgrade and hard earned experience, just have a contingency plan for the 20 extra pounds you'll gain and the time you'll need to take after this experience to regain your sense of self.

Pros

Great benefits, free b'fast on Fridays, interesting work

Cons

HIGH stress, no respect. Churn and burn environment. Privately owned so there is no accountability. Most of the upper management is not as competent as the lower level employees. Although the company is growing very fast, it is getting harder to recruit qualified personnel because of the bad reputation of the company. Product development is intriguing, but in the end, the products are "disposable" and not high quality. No quality of life or work/life balance in most departments. Management has hired outside consultants to assist in growth, but the treatment of employees has not changed. If you are a good politician, you will do well at Euro-Pro. It's a 24/7 job. Don't even think about turning off your phone or leaving your computer at work. The medical benefit package is very generous, which is good because you'll need it. Very few career growth opportunities.
