Pros
First off, I write this review because I want to acknowledge the place I am honored to work at. Some other negative reviews here *claim* that positive reviews are not valid or authentic. They are mistaken.
I love working here. There is transparency & authenticity by the management (from the CEO on down) is really refreshing. Employees are treated like adults, empowered with defining their own path. There are also consistent 1:1's with managers to ensure there is a structure for success.
Teams honestly look at the weak parts of our software and ask how we can make it better. There is a commitment to providing great solutions & creating something that will redefine the category.
The great part is all that is done while championing a TRUE work life balance. Every week we have a "Culture Club" where we stop and acknowledge what is working and what isn't. There are generous vacation and WFH policies.
Being in the heart of Santa Monica and being able to walk to the beach to clear your head is a huge bonus. I'm happy with my compensation and found it to be exactly inline with the market. The stock option plan and vesting schedule beats any I have had (and I have had a few)
Cons
There have been some challenges with some employees who seem to complain rather than offer up solutions. Many of them have been weeded out. There has been a changing of the guard in 2017 that brought in a more experienced set of employees that can see what a great opportunity Event Farm is and want to be the team that writes the next chapter.
It is astonishing to me, knowing all the structures in place to resolve issues, optimize process, and make the workplace better that anyone would ignore all that to just come trash talk on Glassdoor. It does not match my experience as an employee.
