Pros

generally flexible schedule work from home part of the time Great providers and other MA's

Cons

Company is terrible!! Travel expectations are ridiculously high, which they don't elaborate enough during interviews. Upper management only cares about themselves Nobody is on the same page Unrealistic expectations Overworked and underpaid MA's don't stay very long, it's a revolving door MA's are expected to not have lives outside of work Leadership doesn't know what they are doing half the time

Thank you for your candid feedback. We really do want to take the time to acknowledge your experience. We've made a lot of improvements to our MA Team recently and change does take time. Our MA retention rate is actually quite high for a healthcare company of our size. Currently we're in a high growth period for this in-demand role, so we understand the importance of the MA experience and want to do everything possible to make it better. Just as our providers travel to facilities, MAs are expected to as well. In every MA job posting we state that you must be willing to travel up to 1 hour from your home to facilities. That time commitment can be a lot for some, and we realize that the nature of the long term care industry is not a fit for everyone. We hope that the flexibility in work times helps to offset the commute and see it as a huge benefit. Your recommendations for how to gauge improvement are innovative and we encourage you to share these types of ideas with your RMAL, the Manager of MA Support, or the VP of Clinical Operations. We have passed this onto that team, but want you to know that all levels of leadership at Eventus welcome and encourage suggestions that can aid in creating positive and long-lasting change.

Pros

From the very beginning upper management has been so supportive. Everyday I look forward to driving into office and giving 110% because it's given right back to me. If I ever doubt something, my peers are always willing to double and triple check things for me. It feels like family just virtually most of the time. I am forever grateful for this opportunity.

Cons

A lot of my team is far away. I live in Raleigh and drive to the office in ChapHill so I don't really get the coworker experience and communication with peers can be difficult at times, especially when personalities don't mesh well in the online community....
