When I started this hospital lab was well run and efficient with little drama. People like EvergreenHospital for the most part. As a larger hospital it takes care of it's employees well. Good benefits, holiday meals and free parking
Cons
Understaffed, union shop so hard to get rid of bad employees. No sense of teamwork in the lab. Inpatient vs outpatient. Day shift vs night shift. Client services vs the lab vs microbiologist.

This review is not for our Evergreen Systems as we are an IT consulting firm, and this is about a hospital lab. For better or worse, Evergreen Systems is a pretty common name :).
Training is decent in that they give you as much time as you need to get comfortable on the phones, helping patients is rewarding.
Cons
Lack of clear protocols in place for certain patient/scheduling situations, leading to confusion.
Management is more concerned with numbers than the patient experience.
Patients complain about the phone systems and PSRs relay the messages to management, however changes are never made.
PSRs sit in a loud, crammed environment with TEENY cubicles, so it's very claustrophobic. Work environment can lead to stress. Pay is not enough to make it worth it.
