Pros
Many wonderful people work here. It’s hard not to want to work hard and be the best for your team. The company also sends out gifts for special occasions and birthdays. Team retreats and parties.
Cons
Now for the not so great- this company is extremely manipulative. There’s a lot of talk about self improvement, which is cool until it’s weaponized against you by pressuring you to work unpaid overtime. Most are hired as 1099 but have employee expectations put on them, without the benefits. This is not as flexible as they tell you it is during the interviews. There’s a trap of asking you to be honest, and then it puts a target on your back. Management will make decisions that will put extra work on your plate that you will not be paid overtime for. Note that you are not protected from being fired if your manager decides you “aren’t Everlight material”. You can’t have a real conversation with your superiors because every answer is fielded with a fluffy fake positive corporate answer so you’ll always be dancing around the point. You’ll be working at the whim of the Sales team, who can make more in two months than what you make in a year; and they use their mind games on you. Managers are required to make positive reviews on here, so take them with a grain of salt. The pay is way too low for everything you’re expected to do. Don’t be fooled by the positive reviews on here that spring up immediately after a negative one is posted. The culture at Everlight is toxic.
