Everyday I worried I was going to be belittled, yelled at, or embarrassed by leadership and certain colleagues. Extreme micro management also made it an uncomfortable environment to work in.
For being an analytics company, they should know how to utilize data to ensure employees aren't constantly overworked. Late nights and early mornings are a common practice because work is constantly promised to clients without checking if it is a realistic timeline first. If billable (client) work is available, that is prioritized at all times over doing work to help the employee grow or develop new skills.
There is a lot of employee turnover, with most people not lasting more than a year. Those who succeed are those who are comfortable in a cutthroat environment.
The attitude by management is that "Evolytics is the best place to work and everyone who works here is SO privileged to get to work for us.” Evolytics has the potential to be a great place to work, but there needs to be serious cultural changes (including actually delivering on promises, listening to feedback, and deflation of egos) in order for that to happen.
