Pros

- Pay is adequate - Flexible hours of work - Some of the people you work with are great!

Cons

- Management are in constant disconnect from each other - No benefits even if you work over full time hours (which is illegal) - They rely on one "big fish" account to keep their lights on - Management has no idea what it's like in-field and don't listen to team leaders - Unrealistic sales goals if you're working in-field with quotas - No room for advancement into head office unless you are on the "inner circle" - They expect to run programs and have staff "buy into" products to do their job of sampling those said products - Company used to be great but since the passing of a Director of Canadian Operations, the company has been at a loss and consistently losing business - Will funnel resources from one program to another - Hard to reach anyone if anything goes wrong

Pros

If you're looking for something on the weekend, this is not a bad gig The pay is pretty good for what you're doing Self-management, no one breathing down your neck

Cons

Extremely part-time; constantly telling me there are more tastings to be picked up yet I have not seen more than one a weekend, if I'm lucky, two No incentive (money or otherwise) to sell-out products that you are tasting, you are to be vigilant about promoting the product(s) yet all you get is a pat on the back if you do Say they will compensate for millage for certain tastings outside your area; still have not received compensation for some trips
