Pros
Internal Audit department was great to work with at the beginning of my tenure, but over time as new management rolled in or was promoted, the environment became much like the rest of the company. Management is very open to helping further employees' education through graduate school or training opportunities. Flexible hours and can work from home.
Cons
Management seemed very secretive and held information close to the chest. Very disappointing turn of events. Promoted individuals with little to no experience in the department or function. Some individuals did little to no work and were regarded highly by management. There was a lack of promotion opportunities for multiple employees due to strict HR requirements on experience.
