Pros

Pool table, game room, Lots of little perks (fruits, stocked kitechen, zen roometc) Most of the people that work there are friendly and most people generally are here to do their best work and work hard., People really don't get fired

Cons

Overly top down company ---The CEO, while a friendly guy, wants to be in the middle of everything with respect to the business. Little real delegation short of asking a bunch of different people to do different things. No real growth strategy Too many managers and VPs in title that lack the qualification to be so, too focused on higher education at the expense of other markets. Since no one is pushed too hard unless they want to be and no one is really fired, too many people are there that really shouldn't be. This is leading to inefficiency and settling for mediocre standards. Too many that are promoted or put in positions that they have no background or qualifications due to connections or the fact that they are company lifers. Perennial cash flow problems---company seems to want to constantly spend money on flashy/superficial things (pool rooms, game rooms, expensive Christmas parties) that give it the impression that it is a great company or has a great culture when it's revenues are extremely inconsistent and flattening out. Company still is heavily subsidized. Very resistant to doing things differently than was done when the company actually was growing, Company processes have gotten stagnant and over-regulated Very much the type of environment to go to if you are ok just being told what to do/waiting on instructions or working within narrow confines. Typical for immigrants looking for a steady job or those fresh out school that think this is how a company should function. Undertones of micromanagement and a very high school type of feel to it. Certain people literally are there as company lifers to tattle or to demonstrate their influence by acting superior

Thank you for sharing your perception and feelings about the workplace at eXplorance. We value your opinion, and through its overall negative tone, we find valuable insights that will help us further improve as an organization. At eXplorance, we are all about caring for people. This is why we put culture first. And yes, we are constantly enhancing employee benefits. This is how we thank them and their families for their commitment and sacrifice. While you see colleagues that need to be fired; we see deserving people that are committed and instrumental to the success story we have created. We are all in this together, and it is our collectiveness that makes us great. We will refrain from commenting on the the judgmental and discriminatory statement about immigrants, we are sure you did not mean it. Thank you for being an eXplorance employee for more than a year, and we look forward to your positive contribution to continuous improvement at eXplorance.

You have bosses who care about you as a person and will fight for you every second.

We are a luxury not a necessity, so with that comes hard work and constantly learning new things to be more competitive in the market.
