Pros
Expotel sells a great idea. Smaller hotel management company, that works hard for not only the owners but also the employees. Couldn't be farther from the truth.
Cons
Zero training and when you are finally trained, you're treated like a burden.
Small budget, when they know what the property needs. They're trying to show ownership a positive flow to bottom line while affecting asset as well as retaining employees.
Current President of the company, Bret Chittenden, is a condescending pompous individual. He's rude, careless with words, and when he is having a bad day, everyone is having a bad day. Prepare to be treated like a toddler who took a cookie before dinner.
They can't keep assets, their portfolio is forever shrinking with promises of major additions that never come.
Empty promises, all around. Not only for advancement but bonuses as well. They will give you the spreadsheets for annual bonuses, and have you fill them out with proper documentation only to send it back, all documents and financials changed, telling you that the amount you sent was not the proper amount and the bonus is not going to be what you expected. Not to mention they don't send it until two quarters later.
