Pros

- your voice is heard - everyone in the company, including C-suite executives, values your opinion - coworkers are intelligent, considerate, funny, laid-back - flexible work-life balance - opportunities to grow in your field, take classes, etc. - "no blame" culture - we are fast-moving with a positive attitude; if there are bugs or other issues, we fix them quickly, but without blaming or negative attitude towards colleagues. focus is on progress

Cons

- some growing pains, lack of processes, but they are being addressed

Pros

The People - culture is great. Have been through some ups and downs but the average employee tenure is long and the people genuinely care about each other The work - there is a lot to do across the board at this stage, so great opportunities to work cross-functionally and take on more to build your skills Transparency - weekly in-depth updates on how the business is doing cross-functionally vs current goals is not something many companies do, I think it gets a bit taken for granted sometimes, but is a huge plus in a startup environment

Cons

Transparency on future, not just the past - sometimes not being on the Executive team means 'playing telephone' and hearing about company's current strategy and direction from multiple sources rather than directly from leadership. People often feel left in the dark outside of what's discussed on the weekly calls
