Pros
Good Pay, very strong union. Smaller facilities can feel like a at work family while bigger faculties can feel more like your back in highschool.
Cons
Staffing issues are huge across the board. If you love 6 days a week with overtime pay then great, but it can wear you out. Medical requirements make it hard to do your job if anything comes up. Many people do not want to see the doctor for anything since it can disqualify you.
