Pros

The opportunity to work with and impact young players and parents within the game of soccer.

Cons

Toxic working culture where everyone is on their own island and no clear vision and sense of working together towards a common idea. Weak top down leadership. No clear communication and feedback from the people in higher leadership positions. Decisions made based solely on the revenue it would generate, and no discussion ever within technical meetings as to what would benefit the children within the programs. No support and coaching education for coaches within the programs, but directors complain about the lack of quality coaches within their programs. No vision and direction regarding the direction of the club.

Pros

The ability to be around some great kids and teach the fantastic sport of soccer.

Cons

They strive towards mediocrity and a system based on conformity that does not support coaches. I have counted over 15 coaches who they brought in who were hailed as soccer gurus, only to be fired a year later. It starts with the board who are mostly wealthy parents who know nothing of the sport and are only seeking advantage for their own kids. The culture is carried forward by the administration who cares more about money and their inflated salaries than the kids.
