Pros
1. Great entry point into tech for non-technical 2. Great client list for secondments (but recently understand lost big key clients). However overall, exit opportunities are very good. This remains FDM’s top selling point. (If they can retain their client list) 3. Decent to below average salary, when compared to national average for graduate pay (but this figure hasn’t been updated for awhile)
Cons
1. Poor training and continuous learning (internal training team and material is out of sync with the market) 2. No real promotion or company plan to upgrade you for talent retention. The business model itself can be harmful to aspiring consultants, as the business model isn’t incentivised to keep consultants long nor to retain and train you into a capable consulting core. 3. Pay is very bad overall as the years go on, especially when consultants salary is shrinked or stagnated to keep profit margins.
