Pros
Exciting work with good pay. Great people to work with, a lot of camaraderie on the job as your co-workers become almost like family. Very flexible work schedule.
Cons
The danger obviously, with a chance of serious injury or even death anytime you respond to an incident. You can end up working a lot of weekends and holidays, especially when you are new to the job.
