Pros
There are many great things about this company. First of all, the work environment is far better than other companies I have worked for. You get the sense that upper management cares about your ideas and thoughts, and that they welcome feedback. The C-suite members are incredibly personal, and give you the time of day. Everyone here seems to be very dedicated to building a great company and product, and to providing immense value to their clients. The people are all very friendly and willing to help you learn and grow. I feel like I have gained quite a few skills while working here, and I've been here for a little over a year. There's definitely a feeling of family and camaraderie here.
Since this is still a smaller company, some of the processes you may expect from a larger company are still being hashed out, albeit quickly and with high priority. For example, one of the things the company has been focusing more on is giving better reviews of work performance, and also training for employees. Also, there has been some turnover in the past, but management has taken strides to mitigate those issues.
Cons
It can be a little intimidating at first to jump into such a complex niche market, especially with little prior experience. The information and knowledge is definitely attainable, but it will require (as with most other things) a can-do, go-getter attitude when it comes to self-education. If you're the type of person who likes a challenging work environment with increasing responsibilities, and are a self-manager when it comes to learning and career growth, then you may perform well here. Don't expect to know everything the first few months: the subject matter is complex and multi-faceted.
