      Pros

      The organization was focused on bringing in the best. I was always in the presence of individuals who represented dedication, professionalism, and engagement. No matter how large the organization, I felt very recognized and appreciated.

      Cons

      There is a lack of clear structure in how they reward and.or compensate for performance. Understandably the organization is always innovating, but to not have a clear plan to identify what success looks like (compared to all the other awesome performers), a high achiever can feel under appreciated.

      Most colleagues are well intentioned, but stretched beyond the max.

      Cons

      After filing for FMLA, my “leader” encouraged me not to involve HR in the future. The whole point of FMLA is job protection. Him making this suggestion, at best, seems highly unethical and potentially illegal. Some leaders are good with people. Others are more techno sound. The ones that can effectively do both are let go. It makes no sense and the company offers little transparency.
