Pros

Pay, WFH environment, 401k, fertility benefits, student loan program

Cons

- Poor operations, disorganized, weak management oversight and structure - Culture is one that does not invest in its employees' career goals at all! Employees are thrown at projects. Your role constantly changes, undefined and then you're gaslighted into thinking you’re the problem. - Middle Management Executives and Managers play politics and self preservation, fail to make necessary decisions to help company or employees and assume no accountability. Employees are left to solve systemic problems in company w/o their support and often are used as scapegoats. - Not enough people of color in the US. 1 person of color at most across teams (except engineering) and expected to do the “grunt work”. The lack of ethnic diversity is most evident in Management, Product, Marketing, Finance, HR and Sales. A clear indication of who FIS recruits and retains..... - Layoffs/Reductions are a core part of working operations. Every month or so people/depts just disappear… w/o any communication -Horrible estimates of workload and zero strategy to retain talent or replace operations. - 150+ reorgs in under 2years - only High Deductible Insurance plans

Pros

Most colleagues are well intentioned, but stretched beyond the max.

Cons

After filing for FMLA, my “leader” encouraged me not to involve HR in the future. The whole point of FMLA is job protection. Him making this suggestion, at best, seems highly unethical and potentially illegal. Some leaders are good with people. Others are more techno sound. The ones that can effectively do both are let go. It makes no sense and the company offers little transparency.
