Pros

FM Global used to be a great place to work however over the last few years there has been a definite decline in how they treat those who choose to work for them. Total focus is on the client with a lot of lip service to the employees to make it appear that they care. FM Global has turned into a corporate bully.

Cons

FM Global has shown zero compassion for any staff who has chosen not to get the Covid vaccine. I have seen great people who have shown true dedication to the company ask for exemptions and accommodations only to be denied with no reason given. Whether you have been there 1 year or 20, you will lose your job with no severance and no promise of a bonus for 2021 which these folks have worked hard for and earned. Blatant disregard for the well being of their employees has shocked me to the core. Several of the people who have lost their jobs are able to perform these roles very easily from a remote location however none of this has been taken into consideration. Instead they put people through a one sided invasive and highly subjective process which they have no intention of honoring.

Pros

The benefits are decent with a modest pension.

Cons

Managers are less knowledgeable by the day and so are the frontline workers. There has been a serious decline in knowledge and skills over the past few years but senior management isn't doing anything about it. We assume they don't even notice. The game plan seems to be that AI will take care of everything. Good luck with that. When things start to unravel in a few years every manager will blame someone below them. Maybe then the board of directors will start paying attention to the serious mismanagement that our CEO seems so gleefully proud of.
