Pros

Valuable life lessons from horrible experiences which you will never forget that will strangely benefit you in your next job. If you are gutless, spineless and moralless you will get FAR in this company. If on the other hand you are a honest, sincere, respectful and helpful person, you will drown in that pool of piranhas and get eaten alive.

Cons

FNZ is a horrible company. They do a lot of talking about how they appreciate you and how they value you, but their actions speak louder than words and are quite the contrary. Here is my experience in bullet points: - Between March and May 2023 I have developed anxiety and had panic attacks, also in the middle of the night, after being treated so horribly and being bullied by senior people. I went to my doctor for help and described the situation to him and he recommended me a lawyer to work with to file a lawsuit against FNZ for purposeful bullying and mental distress. I have shown that lawyer the emails and text messages I have received where I was called stupid and an idiot multiple times. He prepared the lawsuit, which took a while and in the meantime I saw the list of people who are supposed to get fired (FNZ got rid of 1000 people in July / August which you can Google) and saw my name there. This gave me another idea - I accepted the fact that I would leave, prepared for a nice compensation package and started looking for a new job. It worked out great for me in the end, but I will never forget the torture I went through at FNZ for many, many months. - Do not believe the "positive" entries on Glassdoor. FNZ has a project called "monthly Glassdoor review" where they monitor the Glassdoor entries and then "encourage" their employees to leave good reviews to raise their rating again. It is all lies. Do not believe it. - FNZ promotes absolutely useless people all the time, because their supervisors fear competition, cause they are useless themselves. I have seen who got fired and was in shock, as they were very good employees, hard working, with the correct work ethic and attitude. But they must be removed, because C-Levels fear competition. FNZ does not motivate, nor does it help people develop. I was punished for doing a great job. Everyone I worked with and worked for was happy with my work all the time and I only got positive feedback. Still I was let go and other people who can't even do basic Excel or speak another language were kept and even promoted and got a raise, because they do not pose a threat. - FNZ claims they "challenge each other and win together" which is another lie. They hate the truth, they hate being "challenged" and every C-Level thinks he/she is a perfect version of themselves and do not make mistakes ever. If you dare to say anything critical or negative, they will say "you are not professional" or stuff like "appreciate you are upset right now but what you say is not fair". It is insanely hopeless. - Nepotism, Favoritism and Hypocrisy rules at FNZ. There is an employee who is a gigantic bully and has bullied people on purpose to the point of needing therapy and she always gets an "outstanding" in her yearly review. FNZ rewards horrible people, who harm others and mentally destroy them. FNZ is unfair and dishonest in every aspect. - In townhalls you get told FNZ is doing great and everything is amazing including you, the next month you get fired, because "the numbers aren't right". Get your story straight, stop lying, it is exhausting and people aren't stupid they see through your schemes. - They will say whatever sounds "right" at a certain moment, but it is all lies and will not mean anything the next day, it is just to end a conversation - You will work countless hours and weekends and holidays but still get fired in the end, so don't even bother, work for any other company

Pros

FNZ has been an incredible company to work for and is being run by the best leadership team you could ask for. We’re experiencing a significant amount of growth and our executive staff is driving the organization to new heights. Over the last couple of years, the entire operating model has been optimized aligning all teams to the vision which has enabled collaboration and makes it enjoyable to go to work.

Cons

We need high performing employees that want to constantly push the needle forward. There’s still many employees that are skating on by…however, the new management team has done a great job filtering out the detractors.

Pros

Fast-paced environment High visibility Supportive peers

Cons

My experience within the CEO Office at FNZ was, unfortunately, the most toxic professional environment I have encountered in my career. While the role offered visibility and proximity to senior leadership, the culture at the top was defined by fear, intimidation, and a profound lack of respect for support staff. Long hours were expected (including nights and weekends), but basic professionalism, appreciation, and empathy were often absent. Communication frequently involved raised voices, public criticism, and reactions disproportionate to the situation. Situations outside of anyone’s control were treated as personal failures. There was little psychological safety, and many employees were reluctant to speak up due to fear of retaliation or career consequences. What was most disappointing was not the workload — it was the tone and treatment. Hard work went unacknowledged. Loyalty was not reciprocated. Requests for reasonable discussion or negotiation were taken personally and met with swift, punitive responses. Several colleagues privately expressed similar concerns, but few felt safe voicing them openly. There are talented and hardworking people at FNZ, and the firm has significant potential. However, until leadership models respect, emotional intelligence, and accountability, turnover and morale challenges will likely persist.
