Pros

Paid one week winter break. Great intrinsic value for support given to families and youth in crisis. Clients are the priority. Lives up to their external facing values and commitment to families and youth.

Cons

Internal upper leadership. Lack of diversity throughout the agency, especially in management and leadership positions. Lack of transparency from leadership. More so do as your told approach. Agency policies and practices applied unfairly depending upon the leadership of the department worked within. Need to work on core values internal facing.

Pros

Able to take off if needed and able to flex hours—sometimes—if I would work late. Liked the clients, for the most part Mission was very important to me. 401K

Cons

Lack of diversity Favoritism Some bullying—someone in management was very good at bullying and left over a year ago so then it somewhat improved, however the CEO was aware—very aware—and did not put a stop to it as she should have. Salary is NOT good at all.
