Pros
As an intern, all of the employees definitely treated me with respect! My supervisor really gave me a lot of freedom in my work (I just had occasional check-ins to see what else I could help with during the work day) and she allowed me to attend all of the meetings that she attended. In doing so, I was able to see how the teams generated ideas and how the agency interacted with their clients My favorite aspect about working here is that all of the employees are very accessible and want to help their interns learn more about the marketing world, specifically from the agency perspective. Overall, it was a positive internship experience.
Cons
The position was an unpaid internship (I just received school credit for my work), so I would have preferred for the position to be paid. Occasionally, I had to do traditional "intern" tasks, like making copies and sending mail, but those tasks were pretty minimal.
