- A lot of experience with VM as there is no VM team in Melbourne - You learn the meaning of sense of urgency - 30% off if you are on a contract - A lot of great staff, work as a team (some not so much)
Cons
- Upper management and area managers are shocking - Unrealistic amount of tasks to complete - Always under staffed - Managers have to work every single Saturday - Company doesn't progress with new generation - Marketing is not on trend - Area managers manipulative - You are treated as disposable - Not enough recognition and praise for good work - No Christmas parties after slaving away - Dodgy with contracts and records of discussions - Upper management gives you false hope with progression and tells you what you want to hear - Minimal career progression - Staff gets blamed for anything that goes wrong or poor sales - Way too much stock that cannot fit out and is expected to be unpacked by understaffed team - Theft is common and uncontrollable - No formal training, always thrown in the deep end - Messy store because of cheap clothes, too much stock and rude customers I could keep typing if I wanted.
