Pros
Purchase by Illuminate Education has given it a means to expand more quickly. Beautiful office space in downtown Minneapolis. Supportive of their staff. Provided snacks and beverages.
Cons
Even with the best intentions, restructuring is inevitable. Post-purchase there has been a lot of restructuring - department, job title changes, elimination of positions. Work during the summer meant a lot of overtime hours to meet demand. After the second year without a plan in place, burnout was a problem.
