Pros
I find that Fastenal has a lot of room for growth. If you are a confident "go getter" you will succeed in this company. I am a part-time sales trainee and I honestly have nothing bad to say at all. I've encountered no problems what so ever. People will talk down on the company because of their bad experiences which is unfortunate, but don't base your career on what others say just because it didn't work out for them. Fastenal is a great experience for social skills, accounting, and product knowledge in general. If the opporitunity comes about, take interest in applying.
Cons
The only con I can see to this company is the hours for some people. The store I work at is open from 7:30 am to 5:00pm . Some younger people in high school may have a hard time but that's it.
