      Pros

      I'd say it's the only company with an owner and management treating you like a human being and not just a number (despite the position being highly target-focused), with perks like full sick pay, uncapped commission on both "sides", no minimal sum needed to receive a % of commission earned from your hires, and no maximum cap, all seemingly being given to employees just because the company is doing well and its owner can afford to spoil them a bit, unlike every other company I worked for so far, where employees are usually looked at as numbers and employer will throw them scraps only if their turnover rate is too high and they have to match what their competitors are offering to not be left behind by all their employees.

      Cons

      The only thing I could really complain about was the absurd amount of stealing and backstabbing happening on the trading floor. As a youngster, I had a short stint with a slightly... dodgy call centre, but even they would be stunned by how normalised it was here. Keep an eye out for your candidates and clients alike at all times, because although in theory they can't be touched without your permission and a % of money made from them going into your pocket, in reality other recruiters will nick them constantly hoping you won't notice, and if you do notice but only after a placement has already been made - bad luck, too late, the commission was already paid out and you'll get nothing but a smirk from said colleague. In other words, rip and run and don't worry about others, because they CERTAINLY won't worry about you.

      Pros

      The Houston office has a great team that is knowledgable of the Maritime industry and is in tune in finding candidates and clients whats hot on the market. The atmosphere is truly a sales floor with senior recruiters that are always looking out to help and improve on weekly and monthly goals. If you are willing to give 100% and have the drive and desire to succeed in sales, this is the place to be. It is a hard working office with the ability to develop your own brand as a recruiter. Daily support from the South Hampton office is great.Compensation and benefits are good. Overall a great place to work.

      Cons

      I have nothing bad to say about the company. The were fully supportive in training me and helped me improve on my weaknesses in sales. The only reason I left was due to my desire to go back to seagoing job.
