Pros

1. Used to be a good place for beginners. 2. Good managers 3. Intelligent colleagues with unique skills 4. Friendly environment

Cons

Irresponsible boss who wasted the potential of their employees and agency. Current and former employees owed many many salaries they likely won't see. went from 30 to under 10 employees in 2025. Agency is basically over, this is just to say that many people have thankfully found their footing again and are in better spots that they wouldn't have found staying at Fathom, whether it was losing money or not. Didnt offer progress for anyone working there. The agency ending is a good thing for everyone in the long run. Sorry to the founder, but this is on them.

Pros

- Good colleagues, but most have left.

Cons

- petty over emotional bad leadership, has lead the company into horrible place - delayed salaries because of lost clients and no money - no more office culture or bonding activities. Used to be a culture, but bc leadership avoids issues they wont put team together for events or activities and they cant afford them bc they overspent on them in last two years. - lost half of team since December, still can't pay on time despite not having to pay half the salaries. Has made entire team stressed and hopeless with no talk about plan or what is done for team. Lots of people leaving and more will go - salaries delayed by two months at a time - mood in office was really bad - Bad clients because company has to take what it can get - leadership avoids accountability, has always been all talk no action person who communicates badly. - half of team quit, all of them most experienced people, replaced by handful of people with no/bad experience, need training they aren't getting. - never hires experienced people, attracts newcomers, they get experience, then leave, leading to loop of hiring new people, losing them, then never replacing them with mature talent. Work stays at low level while taking advantage of cheap young newcomers. - extreme dependence on handful of remaining group, if they leave company falls apart and they will. - no plan or communication about how this situation will be fixed, lots of desperate ideas that should have been done long time ago. -poor office morale with no acknowledgement of team by leadership - outgrow work quickly, skills stay the same with boring projects. - no growth or career progession at all, career dead end for anyone staying more than a year. - no more weekly surveys for obvious reasons - over complicated task management system and apps makes work take too long - no performance reviews - Monday to wednesday end at 5:30 instead of 5. apparently to compensate for half-hour lunch break which is too short. Accounts and work load are too small to make this make sense. Meanwhile office opens an hour late despite leadership always saying to be on time while they're not, doesn't lead by example. - no benefits and raises - bad attitude towards people who leeave, Plenty of people leave for better jobs and leadership takes it personally. Burns bridges with people who connect with better opportunities. - no company direction -clients bully team - no tracking results from projects, deliver, get paid and dont worry about improving or changing

Pros

Great team culture when u join, at first everything is great and you feel welcomed and over praised.

Cons

The high-school like mentality snd disconnect between designers and programmers. Causing alot of miscommunication, on what should be designed so when deadline arrived the client is underwhelmed because of expectations from the management who aren't very tech savvy overpromising them everything when in reality the team is limited on resources as everything was using the band aid method and nothing was Done by the book. Such as officially bought software and licences. Everything was all 3rd party except for the design aspect of things. All licences and libraries were subscribed to, one if the issues during my time there which was brief was the fact that they were pretending to be adults when in fact it was a very much childlike team. There was no work life balance it was a constant call to come into work on my weekends to fix an issue because of promising to clients and deadlines. All could have been avoided if expectations were kept realistic.
