Pros
Got hired at Fathom right out of college and jumped head-first into a variety of different projects. If you're looking for a hands-on design experience look no further. In my time there, I worked on full branding projects, website design, infographics, report design, and much more. The design team is small but that means that you'll get to wear multiple hats and tackle a variety of different projects. It allows for plenty of team collaboration and bouncing ideas off of co-workers is seamless. All in all the workload is great, a few late nights but certainly nothing to complain about. The Fathom team really became like my second family (cliche but true nonetheless) in my time there. I felt welcomed from the second I walked into the studio and will remain close with them in the future after I relocate back to my home state for personal reasons. If you're looking for an awesome opportunity to work with talented, genuine people - this is the place. Also Drew, the President, is arguably one of the best people you will ever meet. Other pros: Work from home opportunities, office dog Mia, rooftop deck, free coffee, iMacs, 14th Street location is great.
Cons
Studio space, while nice and conveniently located behind a coffee shop, does feel crammed at times. WFH helps! But the possibility of a larger space (or second location?) may be worth looking into in the future.
