6yThe words used in this review are truly disconcerting. If you want to be a leading designer and work with an “amazing group of individuals,” there’s no better place to be than Faulkner Design Group. Our salaries are at the top of the measurement scale in the industry and our benefits can’t be matched. Yes, you receive highly-rated health insurance and time off, remembering of course that you need to take vacations for your own personal health. FDG also provides flexible hours, especially in emergency situations, and in your next job, I’m not sure you will experience the same level of bonuses that FDG extends to employees. Most importantly, at FDG you immediately get to work on high-profile design projects because we believe in a system of teams that are managed and mentored by seasoned designers.
You’ve given us reasons to think, however, about our culture, work ethic, and employee rewards and benefits, even for our newest employees. For some recent graduates, these are not valued extras in the workplace and some might prefer a 9-5 job in what I would call a “Do This” operation where you get your to-do list and go home so you can keep your free time always in control. Those positions exist, but there aren’t many, especially if you hope to grow your abilities and skills quickly in this competitive industry.
