People want to be here. Even on Monday morning. Your ideas are welcome on any project because FF is egalitarian and cooperative. The job feels cool but still manages to be inclusive of everyone. People laugh a lot and come from different backgrounds. They're not looking for one type of person for any role, and the result is an environment where individuals flourish and can decide how they want to grow. I find it very telling that freelancers always come back, characterising the job as unlike any other company they've been part of in terms of feel. "It's a very special place," people often say. The other thing I admire is that we seem to attract clever people who are widely read and have a breadth of interests that's formidable. I learn a lot from the people I work with.

I think this is a great environment for anyone who thrives on independence, the ad hoc in the day to day, and adventuresomeness. Fearlessly Frank isn't for someone who wants to tap dance over PPTs laced with big data sans actionable suggestions. If you are happy to let a meeting momentarily digress into the importance of Nick Cave before returning to the theoretical future of finance, this is a place you would be happy. If you are looking for more parochial work digs, FF's bright red ethos is understandably not necessarily for you, which is cool, too.
