Pros
Good pay, good hours if you like night work, easy to transfer wherever there’s a terminal
Cons
They don’t care about you. They’ll work you to death just to replace you with someone new they can pay less. Taking care of customers freight is a non concern, not getting hit with the damage and blaming someone else is always the goal. Raising concerns about anything, including safety, gets you targeted and disposed of. Culture has hit the floor, most people I’ve met are very dissatisfied with how things are. Hasn’t changed from any terminal I’ve been to west or east coast or several in between.
