Pros
Freebies and paid lunch every now and then. Rotational Weekend schedule, work a Saturday every 6 weeks. Healthcare & Benefits were decent
Cons
Pay is extremely low for the amount of workload they put on you. The Commission percentage for a CSR which they try to sell you on as a bonus to your paycheck is also extremely low. Lack of diversity Tone Deaf High stress environment, expect burnout and no one to care. How your day would go was dependent on how the manager felt that day. Rude and condescending statements were normal. Micromanaged by showroom manager but also by consultants (coworkers) who believe that because they have a higher position than you they are entitled to do so and also were unhelpful during busy hours because they feel above it. Belittled and gaslighted by management when anyone shared concerns regarding performance/sales and the lack of training that they give (no structure, practically non existent). Showroom manager rarely takes ownership and would blame employees when those concerns were also addressed with higher management -who also would gaslight and was completely out of touch with the reality of what goes on in the showroom, especially during the pandemic. We were told by manager who never wanted to deal with difficult customers and often shuts office door to avoid difficult customers to handle it ourselves. Manager talks bad and gossips about other employees (Past and Present) amongst employees. Extremely unprofessional and toxic workplace that hides under the disguise of being a family and fun to work job. More like high school and people with superiority issues. Would not recommend this company or job to anyone, especially at this location. Whatever they try to sell you on why it's a "great place to work". Just know it’s not worth it at all.
