Pros

You get to have 1 or 2 beers on a Friday after 4pm (if a certain few employees haven't rinsed the stash - But don't think you can leave before 6pm, not allowed!

Cons

No teamwork, as everyone is unhappy in their role here and well underpaid. Nobody is listened to by senior management, and forget your line manager being able to back you, nope, they're just as scared of upper management. Such a poor environment to try and grow in. No real perks or discount, working in the festival industry, you'd think we get to attend these festivals we work so hard for. Wrong again. CEO constantly cutting corners all around, to make a larger profit. 5 sick days a year, and yes if you're sick for 3 days with flu, that would mean you only have 2 sick days left for the rest of the year. Staff turnaround is so high here, so no real "team feel". The list goes on... I would not recommend working here.

We're sorry to hear that this is or was your experience at Festicket. If you're still working here, I'm sure you appreciate the new benefits we just introduced, including 25 holidays for everyone, 15 sick days per year, 5 pm finish on Friday and the new "Year of the Festival" programme that will allow people to travel to Festivals, all expenses covered, to experience our product first hand.. If there's anything you'd like to discuss in person, please reach out to your manager or the people team at any time!

Pros

-Due to the chaos, there is plenty of chance to learn on the job. -Some space for advancement (partly due to high staff turnover). -Really nice team, a bit immature professionally speaking but nevertheless very pleasant to work with on the whole

Cons

-Management prioritises everything and therefore nothing. Easy to fix. -Revenue-seeking not profit-seeking. Causes some very strange decisions and lots of wasted money. -No formal training. -Insufficient respect for staff as human beings, no sense of work-life balance. -Severe gender imbalance in the management team.

We're sad to hear that this was your experience at Festicket. We're a really fast growing start-up, so unfortunately, chaos is not always preventable. But it also means that there are lots of chances to learn and rise through the ranks quickly for talented people! We've had some amazing people join our the executive level, including Marie, our CMO. We agree, that the C-level is mainly male dominated, but we're very proud of our 50/50 split among all staff, which is really rare for a company with a strong focus on tech! We also have a lot of amazing women in leadership positions in middle management. Training is definitely something we're looking at improving and we have some exciting things kicking off in the next few months :)
