Pros

Facilities are very nice. Doughnuts once a month. You will deal with complex real property issues and have a good learning experience (regardless of how long they keep you for).

Cons

Managment communication and employee retention is horrible. The claims department is a revolving door comprised of disgruntled employees who leave because of lack of growth opportunity and somewhat experienced attorneys "terminated" to make way for the summer associates. A purge is done every August to make room for former summer associates. FNF will have you move to Jacksonville (or Omaha) and get rid of you for business reasons, but instead will say it was because of performance issues. You will start to see the effects of these terrible management decisions when someone disappears and claims are distributed amongst the other team members.

Pros

- Remote job with decentish contract to hire payrates - Team is helpful for guiding you - Management seemed to be good at the start

Cons

- ALL IT IS CONTRACT TO HIRE, so if the economy goes to crap and they have a hiring freeze, they will dangle that carrot over your face and then promise you that once everything gets better you’ll get better, only to have the rug pulled out from under you. The staffing companies get the raw end as well. - People mysteriously vanish. One day they are working with you and the next they you say this person has “departed ergo got fired” the company - Turnover is rampant in this company and you will be micromanaged. There is a complete lack of transparency from leadership here and they do not care about you. - All of my colleagues who hired me and coached me left 4 months after I started - Overnight production changes are brutal and you will be worked into the ground
