Pros
It is a job. It is better than unemployment.
Cons
Remember blood letting as medical treatment in history? That is this company. US employees are referred to as expensive resources. Bleeding talent left and right, either for people who've had enough or one of our quarterly Purge of older, experienced people who actually know the products are being systematically let go. That bleeding has left us weaker. The only people who seem happy are they naive 20 some year olds working in sales who have not being screwed yet. The managerial view for personal losses? "They were not a good fit". You have a complaint? Do not go to HR! It will get back to your manager and now you are persona non grata. Growth? Executive say that you need to do that on your own time. quality? It is cheaper to have unqualified people in another part of the world do re work than doing it right the first time. Perhaps this paraphrase from one of the executive leaders to convey the truth of this company. "We're moving away from being a service company to be a software company". Our business is heading to something like "We'll sell our stuff, but find someone else to help you install it and figure it out."
