Pros
You just can't beat most of the things you see at a pawn shop. You get to broaden your knowledge on just about any type of resaleable merchandise and will learn a lot about diamonds and precious metals. Not only will you become good at sales but will also learn how the buying of the merchandise works.
Cons
The positive work environment that cash america once had is slowly but surely going away. Recently the company started caring more about the numbers and profits and forgot to care as much for the employees that make that money for the company. It a great job for those that are starting fresh on job market but don't expect to get much. yes, the opportunity to rise up the ladder is available but the pay raise that comes with it is something to laugh at and the commissions system for management is an entire different joke on its own.
