Pros
Nice and sympathetic co-workers.
Cons
Lazy management who are indifferent to changes for improving the work environment. This of course generates a lot of frustration for many of their staff in hotels, and understandibly, these hotels don't want to renew their contracts when it's up. Poor management skills throughout the departments at the headoffice, which unfortunately transfers to both the staff in general but also the guests; management is very reluctant to change- both in business but also in staff politics; stereotypes are very much perpetuated at this workplace. A lot of the staff have little or no qualifications to work there, many have gotten their jobs through personal relations to various individuals in the staff= nepotism plays a big roll when hiring new personell here. Overall, a workplace reluctant to make necessary changes to improve business on all levels, and very limited opportunities to advance in any way- neither at the headoffice nor at the hotels. Relatively high turnover in employment in certain departments.
