Pros
The small office I worked in had dedicated employees who I enjoyed working with.
Cons
The company pays lip service to actually providing adequate technical support to help balance the workload of the remaining technical staff. This is a result of treating employees like they can be easily replaced, inadequate salaries, poor morale, and an extreme focus on the bottom line. I wouldn't call it "cleaning house", so much as quality people found other opportunities where their skill sets are appreciated. The bottom line is important to focus on, but it seemed like management needed to squeeze even more production out of employees to meet the expanding overhead and losses in other business lines. If you are looking for a job, please look elsewhere. I hung on longer than I should have hoping things would turn around. It was always a good story about how things were going to be different, changes were being implemented, but in the end nothing changed for the better.
