Pros

* Incredibly friendly co-workers across all departments. *6 weeks of training to get you used to how to do the job *Bonuses (mostly reduced rate Sky TV and mobile products) *4-day shift weeks *Free gym membership

Cons

*Managers are friendly but mostly just care about hitting the bottom line. *Very few adjustments made if you have a health condition (e.g. if you need extra equipment to be able to work at a desk). *Calling in sick is sometimes not taken seriously, and hard to take time off to schedule doctor appointments due to the shift-based nature of the job. *Fully office-based *Timed toilet breaks (2 per day, excluding 15 min morning break and 1-hour lunch break). Cannot leave your seat unless you are on a break. *High turnover rate *Long shifts (12 hours)

If you are suffering from a health condition, please contact your team leader or HR Business Partner as soon as possible to make sure any necessary adjustments are made. Similarly, calling in sick should be taken seriously and if this is not happening it should be escalated. Breaks are structured around demand and parameters set by our clients, so sometimes advance planning is needed to prevent a knock-on effect with other colleagues, however, we will always look at flexibility where it’s possible. We do understand that the role can be fast-paced with goals and objectives to be met, in order to give our clients the best support possible. To make sure that you have what you need, we have our Team Leaders and Mental Health First Aiders who are always around to provide support. If you need further help, Firstsource also offers a fully funded Employee Assistance Programme, which provides access to counselling sessions. We strive to make sure our people feel supported and developed in their roles, we have progression pathways, which are based on performance and skill, as well as experience. We also provide opportunities for people to step up on a temporary basis to see if the next level would be a good fit. We also have a number of opportunities and schemes for career progression including JetSet, AIM, and RISE. We also offer apprenticeships and funded degrees with Ulster and Derby Universities, which all colleagues are welcome to apply for.

Pros

Remote, Company provides equipment, No Weekends. Gain your experience and move on!

Cons

People with higher education do not succeed with this company. Peanut shells for pay (not the whole peanut) with expensive “benefits”. Very much ran on favoritism. Some leaders micro manage to the point of not wanting to clock in to a remote position, yet take zero initiative in training you at any time during your onboarding. Equipment is subpar. Beware of the HIPAA violations!!!!!
