Cons
When you get hired you are fed lies about how amazing the company is, how questions are welcome and everyone is there to help no matter what. I learned none of that is true, it was like survival of the fittest. You are expected to learn and do EVERYTHING on your own with no assistance. This was the worst, inhumane, cruel, malicious, and HORRIBLE work environment I have ever worked in, there are not enough words to describe the treatment that was received to myself and others that were afraid to speak up regarding their treatment while employed with Fischer Homes. While employed here I experienced things such as invasions of privacy, being accused of "being a drunk", being spoken to callously, and insensitivity to family needs/illnesses. I could go on and on regarding my experiences it was definitely a hard to pill to swallow and took a large sense of professionalism and courage to be placed in such a deceitful and harsh environment knowing that for some was the only option for their families. My hope is that there is a change in management so that others do not have to experience the treatment me and the many others that have left the company had to endure.
