Pros
I worked on the product team and helped with marketing, social media, and site feature development. It was my first job out of college. During my time there, upper management was diligent and focused on goals. Communication from my team lead and CEO was straightforward and left no guessing as to what they wanted out of each employee (which is much appreciated!). The office culture was positive and fun. For example, all employees received gifts for the holidays and the CEO purchased various toys like flying helicopters and Nerf guns when we needed to take a break from work. Most importantly, the chance to dive into different areas of the business was always available to employees who worked hard and asked for opportunities to grow and branch out. If you had an idea for the site or service, bringing those thoughts to your team lead always led to a discussion. They took employees' ideas about the business seriously.
Cons
The 401K plan could have had more options when I was working there (although this may have changed since I left). In addition, more integration with the advertising and product team was something the company was diligently working on when I left, and making strides in that area were important.
