I have been with the company that was acquired for almost 9 years and there is no upward mobility. I stayed for so long because my sales and pay improved every year . However that has changed as the new compensation plan is much worse, while the base pay barely went up. The biggest issue is that upper management makes arbitrary changes all the time, and the corporate greed has gotten worse each year
