Pros
Consistent roster, learning about travel and countries was fascinating, the training went for 2 weeks and was interesting
Cons
Co-workers were very cliquey and excluded you. They would pick on you for making a mistake in front of everyone else. I heard this was a common experience across a few stores in Outer East Melbourne. If you speak up about your mental health, the manager is more concerned about losing money and asks when you can return to full time. The pay isn't that great ($22.50 an hour). They make you add the Captains Package to every sale or else you get in trouble, it's an extra $50 and adds absolutely nothing for the customer. I was asked to add this additional fee onto a sale for a customer with a disability who didn't have much money and had taken years to save for a trip. I got snarky comments for speaking to a customer for 10 minutes who was anxious about their trip, being told that wasn't making the store money.
