Pros
The people were very friendly and compensation was alright. Management is concerned about making a full line of products to offer their customers.
Cons
Management didn't do a great job of finances and desperately hopped on board the Continuous Improvement movement too late and for the wrong reasons. I think there's a lot of potential at Flight and perhaps now they're figuring out how to run a business that sells into the aftermarket.
Working there looks like working in a sweatshop from 150 years ago. A little effort towards aesthetics goes a long way.
I didn't feel like I was given the opportunity to help them as much as I wanted to. I felt I was not allowed to exercise talents that I had beyond engineering (e.g., supply chain, quality, etc.) I also felt like the engineers WERE given the burdensome task of doing market research without some of the proper tools.
