Pros

- Full remote work, especially beneficial for parents! - Exceptional middle managers who ought to have more influence on the company's operations

Cons

- Presence of toxic masculinity - Lack of diversity and significant underrepresentation of females, along with limited inclusivity - Sales egos are consistently inflated, offering little recognition to broader teams across the business - High staff turnover, particularly within leadership teams - An uncertain future, causing the majority of staff to worry about potential redundancies due to the company's history - Staff frequently operate with uncontrolled autonomy, often disregarding processes and communication with other teams - Leadership's lack of trust leading to discouragement of transparent team communication and frequent staff blaming - Poor products that show a consistent lack of improvement - Founders are unapproachable and display emotional detachment

Thank you for your review and taking the time to respond, we appreciate you calling out our middle managers who we are proud to have at Flipdish. We believe that the tech industry has a long way to go regarding diversity and equal representation, however we feel like we are making strong steps in the right direction; - We enlisted a female board member and our most recent $100M funding round was lead by female investors - Our most senior hire (COO) within the business is female. - 50% of our current csuite members that we’ve hired are female - 50% of our VP leadership team are female. - Q1 & Q2 new hires for 2023 are 50:50 male:female - All of the following functions are lead by female leaders in Flipdish: Legal, People, Ops, Product Marketing, Product and in a few weeks our entire Support function will also be lead by a female leader. We think that branding the organisation as a boys club would do a disservice to all the women who have build the company. Once again, thank you for your review and we would encourage you to reach out directly with specific examples so we can continue to improve the working culture at Flipdish.
